Club Paihia & the Bay Of Islands provides a feast of activities for the holiday maker. The resort is situated on a hill, so there are many steep inclines and many stairs within, the resort is not suitable for people with mobility problems. In the studio units there will be either a "Murphy bed" which pulls down from the wall or a fixed queen bed. The region has many nautical activities including the beach, boating, windsurfing and deep sea fishing (all only 2 blocks from the resort). The Bay Of Islands area also boasts many historical sites and walking tracks. A mild climate all year round makes this the ideal holiday destination. All tours can be booked through the Resort

The Bay of Island's transparent waters are one of the favourite playgrounds for lover of everything aquatic - including diving, sailing, boating and swimming with dolphins. The Bay is renowned for superb diving spots, where exotic fish crowd around its reefs and mangrove estuaries, or diving of the Rainbow Warrior at Mataurai Bay.

To enjoy the abundance of birdlife, dolphins and even whales around the Bay you can join a 'Hole in the Rock' cruise that will take you through that famous landmark in the outer reaches of the Bay.

The holiday cottages at Kinloch Rannoch in Perthshire, Scotland are set deep in the heart of the Highlands. The holiday cottages at The Loch Rannoch Highland Club in Perthshire, Scotland offer a variety of different properties ranging from compact studio apartments, sleeping 2 guests (will sleep two adults and two children in the same room), to 3 bedroom Highland Lodges sleeping up to 8 guests. All the Resorts lodges and apartments feature a private patio and balcony providing breath-taking views of the Loch and the mountains beyond. All are centrally heated and every lounge has a colour tv, video player, games table and dining area. The fully equipped kitchens are fitted with solid oak units, split level ovens, ceramic hobs and everything from a corkscrew to a food processor, all crockery, glassware and cutlery is also provided.

To reach the Madeira Regency Palace in Funchal. From the Airport follow the main road via rapida, west to Funchal. At exit 8 at the sign for Sao Martinho, turn left to the roundabout, take the third exit and follow the signs for Estrada Monumental. When you reach a large statue of an angel on a roundabout, the Madeira Regency Palace is in front of you, you have to take the third exit and the entrance is on your right. Taxi transfers can be arranged
upon request from the Resort.

Numerous facilities are available on site for guests and the location makes day trips to places like Gibraltar, Morocco, Granada and other places easily accessible. There are three excellent golf courses near by. Reception can arrange tee times.

Within a short steep walk are lots of restaurants from Spanish through Indian and Chinese to English. Also within walking distance is a supermarket, a medical centre, gift shops and leather shops. The sophisticated shopping town of Marbella is a thirty minute bus ride. The beach is found through Calahonda town, under the main road underpass or alternatively the Resort courtesy bus transports guests to a nearby beach. A car is recommended to fully enjoy the area.
The superior holiday apartments at Club Marbella on the Costa del Sol, Spain are spacious and nicely furnished having been recently refurbished. They have a balcony, satellite television, electric heating, washing machine, microwave and full kitchen. Linens and towels are provided, except pool towels which can be hired.

The magnificent sports and leisure centre on site at Club Marbella has squash courts, sauna, gymnasium and games room, cafeteria, pizzeria, 24 hour reception, children's play area and a nightly entertainments programme. There is a new indoor heated swimming pool and two outdoor pools. Sister resort Club Calahonda is a fifteen minute courtesy bus ride from Club Marbella has tennis, paddle tennis, a games room, restaurant and snack bar. There is a small charge for use of the indoor pool and jacuzzi, five euros, per person, per week. Please note this Resort is unsuitable for guests with mobility problems.
